We are very pleased to welcome you at our homepage of the Historical Inn, the crowm restaurant,  the oldest guesthouse in Ronneburg.

Please take your time to study our menue. Some dishes require a longer preparation time because we prepare everything fresh for our guests. Therefore we would like to ask for your patience.

200 Years ago, our house started as a farm with its own butchery and own apple wine press and its now a modern inn preparing dishes in regional old fashioned styles and modern.

We wish you a pleasurable stay in our house.

The Hotel

Our hotelroom rates are: 48 Euro  for a single-bedroom room and  68 Euro   for a double - bed - room. The rooms are all build in 1990, very fine rooms with seperat bathrooms, Sat-TV. The rooms are classified by the german hotel - and restaurant organisation, and  they awarded us with three stars,
as you can see on the sign below:

Opening hours of our restaurant:

Tuesday through Sunday      11:00 o´clock a.m.  until   2:00 o`clock p.m.    
                                          
and 5:00 o´clock p.m. until 11:00 o´clock p.m.

Hot meals until  10:00 o`clock p.m.  Sundays until 9:30 p.m.

Hühnersuppe – chicken hot pot mith noodles    

Großer Salatteller – large salad with ham, cheese, tomatoes       

 Camembert – baked camembert, cranberries, toast                 

 Lachs – norwegian smoked salmon, cream horseradish

          prepared according the traditional recipes of our grandmother,

with a delicious cream dressing, chopped onions, with farmerbread from our own bakery -

The cookbooks of the TV – programme  „Hessen à la carte“ volume 1 and 2, as well as the new Apple Book with lots of interesting prescriptions, stories and songs around the apple. The trilogy is a must for every cookbook collection and should not be missed in your collection!
